The weekly U.S. Regular Diesel Price for the East Coast, issued each Monday by the Department of Energy (DOE), is used to determine the fuel surcharge, which is applicable for seven days. If any Monday is a federal holiday then the DOE index will be announced on the next business day and a revised surcharge will be issued on the same day.
